Background to E gals

For those of you who are unfamilar with the E Gals meeting in Emmanuel Church, Lurgan these weekly ladies meetings started in 2006 and have been going ever since!! That means we are now entering our 14th Year.

It all happened after our beloved Pastor and friend, Jill Emerson died very suddenly. She along with one or two others had been instrumental in getting the group started a few years before in a more informal way and so it was an unbelievable blow to lose her, but out of the loss and grief came the idea for a different kind of format which is now our E gal group.

The name was chosen because we are all "gals" and the E stands for Emmanuel. We meet on tuesday mornings for tea and toast around 10.30 and then at 11.15am we preach the Word!!! Come and join us?? C D's of all talks are available or you can listen on line.   Sadly due to the Covid 19 outbreak we will be meeting this Autumn without tea and toast.  Sorry girls.
